First read this article: Florida bill would require bloggers who write about the governor and legislators to register with the state

If Florida thinks they can make me register with them before I make blog posts about Ron DeSantis, they’ve got another thing coming. I doubt this is going to pass, but if it does, there’s no way it’s going to stand up in court. This is pretty much the definition of abridging the freedom of speech and interfering with petitioning the Government for a redress of grievances.

Of ccourse, I may well be fighting Florida in court if they try to fine me $2,500 for this post. But it will be worth it.
