Subject: Why are you crying, my son?

Thanks to Rosanne Rose for forwarding this one...

One day in Heaven, the Lord decided He would visit the earth and take a stroll. Walking down the road, He encountered a man who was crying.

The Lord asked the man, "Why are you crying, my son?"

The man said that he was blind and had never seen a sunset. The Lord touched the man and gave him sight. The man rejoiced in his newfound sight, and praised the Lord's name to all.

As the Lord walked further, He met another man crying and asked him, "Why are you crying, my son?"

The man was born a cripple and was never able to walk. The Lord touched him and he could walk. The man danced away, praising the Lord wherever he went.

Further down the road, the Lord met another man who was crying and He asked, "Why are you crying, my son?"

The man said, "Lord, I work for The State of New York."

And the Lord sat down and cried with him.

I've saved this humor for a couple days so I could send it today, because today I need cry no more: I no longer work for the State of New York.

Not that working for the State was really a reason to cry. My outgoing employer, the New York State Thruway Authority, has been very good to me over the time I've been there. It was just time to move on.

My new employer, LaCorte IMG, is giving me the opportunity to work on a lot of cool new things and I'm really excited about being able to join their team.

Of course, none of this will affect PackyHumor at all... I'll still be filtering the humor in my spare time and messages will come out every night at midnight EST/EDT. Even so, I thought you'd like to know.
