Subject: A Great Writer

Another great one that missed the archives. Paul Kraus sent this tidbit from Tricia Trask...
There was once a young man, who, in his youth, professed desire to
become a great writer. When asked to define "great" he said, "I want to
write stuff that the whole world will read, stuff that people will react
to on a truly emotional level, stuff that will make them scream, cry,
howl in pain and anger!"
He now works for Microsoft writing error messages.
Administrative note: After tonight, PackyHumor will be switching over to
new mailing list software. When the switch is made, you'll get a
message welcoming you to the new list. This new software give us a lot
more features than the old software did: you can now control how mail is
sent to you via a web page and the software will automagically deal with
people whose email addresses go away (which happens more often than
you'd think).
I'd like to heartily thank everyone who participated in my test program,
and pray that this transition goes smoothly.
Thanks for letting me bring a smile into your lives!
